Patrick Rusheleau
(2008 – 2010)
Past Faithful Navigator SK Patrick Rusheleau joined the Knights of Columbus on
October 17, 1982 as a member of Rideau
Council 2444 in Smith Falls, Ontario where he completed his 2nd
and 3rd Degrees of our Order.
SK Patrick has been a member of Council
2444 in Smith Falls; Renfrew Council
1916, in Renfrew; St. Martin De Porres
Council 12909, in Scarborough, Ontario; Dr.
J.F. Dunn Council 5153, in Carleton Place, Ontario; Ottawa’s Holy Cross Council 10617, and he is a charter member of Resurrection
of Our Lord Council 13701, in Ottawa, Ontario.
During his years of services as a member of our Order PFN SK Patrick has
served in a number of positions in the Third Degree of the Knights of Columbus
beginning with Inside Guard; followed by; Advocate;
Chancellor; Financial Secretary;
and Deputy Grand Knight, culminating
with his election to the office of council Grand
Knight.
SK Patrick has served in the office of Grand Knight of several Councils. He last
served in this office as a ‘Star Council’ Grand Knight during the Fraternal
Year 2006 – 2007 in Resurrection of Our
Lord Council 13701.
Sir Knight Patrick was elevated to the Fourth Degree of our Order with Canadian
Martyrs Assembly 1597 of Renfrew, Ontario, on June 1st 1992.
He transferred his Fourth Degree membership in the Knights of Columbus to
Bishop John Beahen Assembly 2230, in
November of 2003.
During his membership in the Fourth Degree of our Order Sir Knight Patrick has
served in the positions of Faithful Inner
Sentinel; Faithful Trustee; Faithful
Pilot; Faithful Captain and Faithful
Navigator.
PFN SK Patrick Rusheleau was elected to the office of Faithful Navigator of Bishop
John Beahen Assembly on May 27, 2008.
He served as Faithful Navigator of the assembly for two fraternal years, from
July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2010.
He was elected to the office of Faithful
Comptroller on May 25, 2010 .
PFN Sir Knight Patrick has also served as President
of the Knights of Columbus Diocesan
Association of the Diocese of Pembroke (FY 1992-1993) and a Counsellor of the Knights of
Columbus Diocesan Association of the Archdiocese of Ottawa (FY 2008-2009).
